Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what ThematicHQ, Inc. ("Thematic", "we") collects when you use the Thematic website, the Daily Register email and Thematic's other services, and how we use it.

Information you give us. Your email address when you sign up, and your name and firm if you provide them. If you create an account, we also keep the settings you choose, such as the sectors you cover and the views you save.

Information from your use of Thematic. Which pages, deals and reports you open, the questions you type into Thematic's search and ask features, and which emails and links you open or click. We also collect standard technical information: browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the page or campaign that referred you.

Information we infer. When you sign up with a work email, we may use your email's domain to suggest the sectors and firms most relevant to you. You can change these at any time.

• To provide Thematic: deliver the Daily Register and other emails you sign up for, show your coverage, and answer your questions.
• To improve Thematic: understand which coverage is read and fix what is broken.
• To keep accounts secure and the service working.
• To contact you about your account or changes to the service.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share your email address with advertisers or sponsors.

We use trusted service providers to run Thematic: website hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, and AI services that help answer questions and summarize research. They process information only on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. Questions you type into Thematic may be processed by an AI provider to produce an answer; that provider does not use them to train its models.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your settings and measure how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but signed-in features will not work without them.

Thematic's register is compiled from published, publicly available sources, including press releases, regulatory filings, company and firm websites, and news reporting. It includes the names and roles of executives, investors and advisors only where they were published in connection with a transaction or firm. Some summaries and analysis are produced with the help of AI tools and reviewed against those sources. If you believe a record about you or your firm is wrong, or you would like it removed, write to hello@thematichq.com and we will correct or remove it.

We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security and record-keeping purposes. Usage information is kept in aggregate or deleted when it is no longer needed.

• Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops that email immediately.
• You can change your sectors and saved views in your account settings.
• To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email hello@thematichq.com. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Thematic for Slack reads only messages that @mention it, never your channel history or files. It answers from Thematic's register and, unless the workspace has turned it off, may search the public web when the register doesn't cover a question. The person who installed it can switch web search off for the workspace with /thematic web search off.

Thematic is a professional service and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We may update this policy. The current version always lives at this page with its last-updated date, and we will notify members by email of material changes.
